About the Director
Java has extensive experience across key labour law forums, including the CCMA, Bargaining Councils, the Labour Court, and the Labour Appeal Court. Over the years, he has acted as an initiator, defence representative, and chairperson in complex internal disciplinary hearings, particularly those involving senior management and executives.
His client base includes senior managers, heads of departments, and executive leaders across both the public and private sectors. He regularly represents employers in high-level disciplinary proceedings within State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) and municipalities.
In recognition of his expertise, leadership, and contribution to labour law, Java was appointed as an Acting Judge of the Labour Court in October 2022.
